In January, 2024, Urban Land Institute Magazine highlighted 10 noteworthy properties utilizing green financing to achieve energy efficiency in operations and development. FCP’s Holly Spring Meadows was featured as one of the 10 in the article, noting the firm’s utilization of funding from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) Multifamily Energy Efficiency and Housing Affordability (MEEHA) program to carry out an LED lighting retrofit, make mechanical upgrades and install low-flow water fixtures.
