New concept from author and chef and rhythm-based cycling studio Full Ride coming to Charlotte Avenue Creative Office Project
With a focus on building healthy places, Third & Urban and FCP are bringing Full Ride Cycling and a new fast-casual restaurant to Sylvan Supply, the adaptive reuse development in Sylvan Park featuring large format, class-A creative office space and carefully curated destination retail.
Cookbook author and professional cook, Amanda Frederickson, is launching the health-food focused restaurant in the new Sylvan Supply along the Charlotte Avenue corridor. The yet-to-be-named concept will feature hearty salads and grain bowls made with high-quality ingredients using produce from local farmers. This is her first restaurant.
“The food at the restaurant will be the way that I love to eat — fresh, flavorful and healthy,” Frederickson said. “I’m excited to open this restaurant because it is exactly the kind of place that I want to go. I am looking forward to serving the Nashville community and being a part of the vibrant group of tenants at Sylvan Supply.”
Founded by top Nashville cycling instructor Kenzie Todd, Full Ride Cycling is a 45-minute beat-driven, full-body workout. Launched just ten months ago, FRC has become known as one of the best cycling studios in the southeast United States.
“As a boutique fitness studio, we’re excited to partner with an intentional development that is focused on elevating the Nashville retail experience,” said Todd. “The co-tenancy, ease of parking, and the overall aesthetic is something to which we were originally drawn. Health and fitness are no longer a luxury; it’s a way of life and I believe Sylvan Supply is the ideal partner for us to provide an authentic and healthy lifestyle Nashvillians are craving.”
The new leases follow announcements by taproom and brewery, Bearded Iris Brewing, and third-wave coffee shop, Barista Parlor, which are opening new locations in Sylvan Supply. The carefully curated blend of retail offerings is creating momentum on the office side as well. The historic renovation and adaptive reuse project is anchored by office space featuring open floor plans, large windows and highly-amenitized outdoor space.
“Sylvan Supply is putting an emphasis on fitness and wellness in Sylvan Park while promoting healthy lifestyle choices for our office tenants and the surrounding community,” said Chris Faussemagne, Third & Urban. “The project itself and the unique retail mix is drawing a tremendous amount of interest from the business community, which sees value in what we are creating, not only for their brands but for their employees.”
Full Ride and Frederickson’s healthy food concept are expected to open in spring, while Bearded Iris and Barista Parlor are on track to open in the first quarter of 2020.
